Just Cupcakes will not offer any refunds or exchanges for custom products that meet our quality standards once an order has been picked up, delivered or “accepted” by a designated party. Under no circumstances will Just Cupcakes provide refunds in excess of the cost of the order. All products are deemed the responsibility of the customer once it leaves the Just Cupcakes property, including employee delivery. Refund requests due to decorating style, color shade or general decoration design will not be honored or considered. Refunds will be given only if the product does not meet the flavor, size, or general description detailed in the order form. Refund requests due to flavor or texture after order acceptance will be at the sole discretion of the Just Cupcakes Owner or Manager. A store credit may be considered if the product is brought back and order quality, texture, or flavor is determined not to be the standards of Just Cupcakes. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of the Just Cupcakes Owner.
Just Cupcakes custom cakes, cupcakes, and other bakery items are baked from scratch with all natural ingredients and must be kept out at room temperature. Keep in mind temperature and humidity may impact flavor, texture, or overall design to some degree.
Special Order Deposits, Payments, & Cancellations:
A deposit of 50% and a signed contract is required to consider this order a contract for services to be rendered, for orders estimated at $150.00 or more. The remaining balance on account is due five business days prior to the event, delivery or pick up date. If the full payment is not received the by the due date, the order may be cancelled. Any changes to the pending order must be made no later than ten business days prior to delivery or pickup date. Any changes requested after the signing of the order contract cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
All deposits for specialty orders may be refunded up to 50% when requested fourteen days prior to the event, delivery, or pick up date as stated in the signed contract. No refunds will be guaranteed after the conclusion of the fourteen days. There will be no credit given for cancelled order within the fourteen business days. Credit may be given for a future order for cancellations with more than fourteen business days notice, less than the value of the deposit or items that cannot be re-used. This offer is subject to the date being available and at the sole discretion of the Manager and Owner of Just Cupcakes.
Deliveries for special events will be confirmed three business days prior to the event date. Cakes may be setup 1-3 hours before the time of the event. For outdoor events, set up time should be scheduled as close to the time of the event as possible, which may limit design options.
Clients must disclose any road or venue hazards or obstacles that may hamper the delivery and quality of finished products. In the case of an unavoidable extenuating circumstance, Just Cupcakes cannot be held liable for more than the price of the cake described in the agreed-upon and accepted order.
If the client or client appointed representative is not available to receive the order at the date of the event, a re-delivery fee may be required.
Photographs and Marketing:
Just Cupcakes respects the privacy of all clients. We will not disclose the identity (i.e., full names, event details, contract details, etc.) of clients without permission.
Just Cupcakes reserves the right to photograph baked goods and custom orders for the use on our website, social media, or any relevant marketing materials. Just cupcakes, additionally, reserves the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to photographed subjects.
Any use of a Just Cupcakes rental must be returned seven business days following the event date to a Just Cupcakes employee. Any failure to return Just Cupcakes property will result in a full market price of the given item and may be subject to additional fees.
